Frequently Asked Questions:

What do I need to wear? We recommend wearing pants and long sleeves. Bring gardening gloves and a water bottle.  We’ll provide a cooler with water.

What age can participate? We recommend participants be over the age of 10, but all ages are welcome.  Children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I use this event for service hours? This event is great for anyone who needs service hours and all habitat heroes will receive a free boat tour pass!

Can I bring my own tools? Yes, feel free to bring your shovels, handsaws, and rakes, but we ask you not to bring power tools or chainsaws.

Can I arrive later than 1:30 pm? Yes, we understand busy schedules and we encourage you to join us when you can. We will offer the habitat education programs at 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm each day for your convenience.
